Dear Mr. Burns & Staff,
Your professional services were outstanding as they have always been to so many members of our family. But it was the personal touches that you add that made us so able to celebrate mom's life in a way that made all of us so pleased. You took so much care and time to make our arrangements perfect.
Thank you,

Aleta Buzard Kech

Dear Folks-
Thank you for taking such good care of both our parents. Dad looked wonderful and it warmed our hearts that you talked to him. :) We will always remember "the best funeral ever," and part of it being the handsome Burns men with dark suits, sunglasses, and big smiles on their faces. We also wanted to thank you for being good neighbors for all of those years.
Sincerely,

Dear Rollie & Staff,
To simply say "thank-you" seems quite inadequate. Your services during this most difficult time were outstanding. Every detail was unsurpassed. The video is a wonderful tribute and keepsake. As I mentioned to you after his funeral, Rollie, you are in a class of your own as a funeral director. Thanks so much.

The scouts, families and leaders of Boy Scout Troop 51 would like to extend a great big huge THANK YOU to all of the local businesses that helped to make our spaghetti dinner an outstanding success. You are greatly appreciated. The proceeds raised from this event will be used for much needed tents and a trailer for the camping excursions. Over 300 people attended the dinner and that helped support our troop for an evening of good ol' fashion "community" gathering. The boys worked very hard, had fun learning to make meatballs and learned lessons about the hospitality business. It was a huge, delcious success. The support of local people and businesses such as yours enables volunteers to continue to direct the youth of today in a positive direction for tomorrow. Thank you for your donation!

Clarion Boy Scout Troop #51

Thank you! You have a huge heart!

Fred & Kim Cherico

Thank you very much for the generous care package you sent to my soldiers and me. Being so far from home and our friends and family over the holidays, receiving such support is really a boost to morale and a reminder of why we do what we do. My platoon completed a long move across the country from Basrah to about an hour west of Baghdad just before Christmas. All the items in the care packages we received allowed us to throw a barbecue on Christmas for the entire platoon. Although we are looking forward to spending next holiday season in the states, your contribution helped us all have a Merry Christmas regardless of our location. Thank you so much for your generosity and keeping us in your thoughts. It is amazing how acts of generosity and thanks life the package you sent help carry a soldier through the tough months away from home and all that he or she loves. We are now entering our final month in Iraq, and my soldiers all are anxious to return home. Support such as yours, however, has definately made the time go by much faster on this deployment. Thanks again for your well-wishes and generosity. It makes our job so much easier knowing we have such strong support back home.
Thanks,

Joe Marshall and 2nd Platoon Baker Company

I want to express my heart felt thanks for everything you have done for my family with the passing of our new guardian angel, Jonathan. I will be forever grateful. God Bless,

Rollie, A word of thanks and appreciation to you for providing our calendars at St. Nicholas in Crates. Your generosity and thoughtfulness is appreciated very much. I know that God is blessing you for all the kindness that you extend to others.
God Bless You,

Thank you so much for sending the Christmas stockings to my fiance, LCDR Mark Kircher, and his shipmates aboard USS Abraham Lincoln. Your kindness was much appreciated. Thank you for remembering those deployed.
Kind Regards,

Dear Rollie,
I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how pleased we are with Dad's headstone. Randy, Amy, Christopher, and myself had the opportunity to go down and look at it on Wednesday afternoon and were so happy at how it turned out. I know Dad would be very happy with it, just as we are. Thank you for all you have done for us through this very difficult time. When there are people like you and your staff that treat people with the utmost respect in times like this, it makes that grieving process a whole lot easier. You are a blessing from God and we appreciate all that you do. Take care and have a safe and happy holiday season.

Dottie Reddinger

On behalf of the members of the American Legion Post 66 Honor Guard and their wives, I would like to thank you for the dinner on September 25, 2010. To know that you appreciate what we do for you and the bereaved familes makes it even more meaningful. Thank you,

James Johnston

Dear Rollie and Staff, Thank you for all that you did for us to help us through the arrangements and funeral of Uncle Jim. We appreciate all that each of you did to make things easier for us.
Sincerely,

Rick & Marlene Steiner

Dear Rollie:
Your careful attention to detail and your responsiveness to our requests made Mom’s funeral much easier than I ever anticipated. Megan produced a wonderful DVD of family photos, about which so many people made complimentary comments. The theme of a teacher evident on the memory candle and bookmarks is perfect. I do not remember the name of the young man on your staff who was at the funeral home during visitation on Thursday evening, but he was personable and professional. In particular, Scott and I appreciated the friendly, informal, and comfortable way you treated us. It was as if we never left Clarion. Thank you.
Best Regards,

Bill

Dear Rollie,Brian,& Megan,
Thank you for all that you have done for our family during this very difficult time. From the time Brian picked Dad up on Wednesday evening and offered his condolences to the commital service at the cemetary, we could not have been treated with anymore respect then what we were. I had no doubts that things would be perfect. You are all wonderful and are appreciated more than words can say. To Megan~the video was absolutely beautiful. We had many many comments about it and how nice that it was. You all did a fantastic job and Dad would have been so pleased with everything exactly as it was. Please accept my sincere appreciation for your professionalism and caring and compassion towards me and my family. These times are never easy, but when people like you are there to help it makes it a lot easier. Once again thank you. You are all a blessing from God.

Rollie,
We just wanted to thank you for all you did and for all your support you'd given us during Jesse's funeral. You went above and beyond. We greatly appreciated your support.
Thank You,

Jeff, Sherry, & Ian Taylor

Rollie,
Just want to thank you and your wonderful staff for everything you've done for us. You are all very kind and professional. You gave me the guidance I needed throughout and I really appreciate it. Also, I received so many compliments on the slide show. It was really a nice touch. Again, thank you. Your business can never be easy but you were great at making it easier for us.

Trudy

Thank you so much for your kind services and help.
Sincerely,

Delores E Beers

Dear Mr. Burns,
I wanted to extend my gratitude for your help through my dad, Eugene Beers' funeral arrangements. Your kind mannerism made things alt easier. I know that my family was very grateful to you. You laid dad out very well. He looked like he did before his severe illness set in. I know you told me that was your job, but I've seen others done by other funeral directors that were not done as well as you did dad. So, I felt the need to say thank you so very much for all you've done for us. It was all very much appreciated.
Sincerely,

Tammy

To whomever is responsible for sending the card "My First Christmas in Heaven." It truly made my Christmas. My mother was so peaceful in singing with angels within the last week of her life. The voice she was singing with was not her own. Only two of us were blessed to hear her sing with the most beautiful melody I ever heard. It could of never been a human. The card was the tip of the iceberg for Christmas. It truly confirmed my prayers!! Thank you so much it touched my families lives forever.
Sincerely,

Sue Hockenberry

Rollie,
I want to thank you for all that you did for me and the family. From that very first phone call until the end of the mass at I.C., you were the one person who made sure everything was taken care of in a very personal, yet professional manner. Couldn't have gotten through it without you. Thanks again.
Do take care,

Janet Williams

Rollie,
We would like to express our appreciation for all that you did for our family to help plan our mom's funeral. You did an excellent job of preparing her for viewing and that meant the world to us to have that kind of closure. We can't thank you enough for making the most difficult time of our lives a little easier. Thanks again for the beautiful candles.
Thanks So Much,

Missy

A very special thank you, Rollie, for your kindness to us when our dearest Mother died. We will always remember that.

Dear Roland,
My family and I cannot thank you enough for all that you did to make one of the hardest decisions in the world so easy and comforting. The day we came to see you to make the arrangements for Aunt Jean's funeral I thought was going to be one of the hardest in my life. You were definitely chosen by God to be in the profession you are in because you have the warmth and personality that are so important during this difficult time. You made Aunt Jean look so beautiful as if she had no disability at all and the entire family was talking of her beauty. Please continue to go forth and do what God has chosen for your life's work because you have done him and your father proud. Thank you again, you have given all of us the most precious memory of all to see Aunt Jean so beautiful and that will live in our hearts forever. She truly looked at peace.
God Bless you and your family,

Elizabeth "Jean" Gutshall - Jean's Niece

Dear Mr. Burns:
Thank you so much for your interesting and informative discussion with my Death and Dying Class (Sociology 318) on Monday, October 27, 2008. I think students always benefit from having a chance to hear professionals, such as yourself, describe the type of work they do. Your discussion highlighted for the students many important issues regarding funerals, and also reinforced many of the points we have discussed in class regarding death and dying. Both the students and I found it to be an interesting, fun, and informative session. I appreciate you taking the time from your busy schedule to address the class. Thanks once again!
Sincerely,

Kathy Fleissner, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Social Work, PSSP Department

Rollie,
I want to thank you very much for all that you have done for us. From the bottom of my heart. Even when you told me about turning the music up. It made me feel good, Louie would have liked that. But little things like that mean a lot. Maybe you don’t hear it enough but I wanted to let you know.
Thank You,

Stacey Murphy

Rollie,
For the professional guidance, the patient understanding, and the caring attitude our family will always be appreciative for your help in getting us through this most difficult time.
Thank you,

Betty Phillips and Family

Rollie,
Thank you so much for all you did for us. You handled Dad’s stone, the urn and the ashes. Your advice and considerations were much appreciated. My Mom and I want to thank you for all of your help at a difficult time.
