Judy C. Slaugenhoup, 69, of Strattanville, died Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at the Golden Living Center in Clarion.
Born April 9, 1944 in Clarion; she was the daughter of Russell C. and Doris A. Baines Stromyer.
Judy was married on August 21, 1965 to Douglas A. Slaugenhoup, and he survives.
She retired from the Owens-Illinois Glass Plant of Clarion.
Judy was a member of the Cornerstone Church of Shippenville.
She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and flowers and gardening.
In addition her husband, she is survived by three sisters, Shirley Guth and her husband, Alfred, of Shippenville, Marie Bish of Shippenville, Donna Fascenmyer of Naples, FL; a brother, Larry Stromyer and his wife, Betty, of Tylersburg; a sister-in-law, Janice Lutz of Shippenville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Rodney Slaugenhoup; a daughter, Michelle Slaugenhoup; and three brothers-in-law, Leonard Bish, Lawrence Fascenmyer, and Edward Lutz.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2013, at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home, 638 Wood Street, Clarion.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2013, in the funeral home with Pastor John Green, pastor of the Cornerstone Church in Shippenville, officiating.
Interment will be held in the Cedarview Memorial Park in Strattanville.
