Bridgette L. Beinhaur

Bridgette L. Beinhaur, 44, of Clarion, passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, April 19, 2023 at her home following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on March 19, 1979 in Clarion; daughter of Stan and Sandy Jones Sowl of Clarion. Bridgette was a graduate from Clarion-Limestone High School where she was a cheerleader. She then graduated from Mount Aloysius College. Bridgette married her bestfriend, Matthew Beinhaur, on July 27, 2002, who survives. She worked for numerous places including the former Kmart, Verland Homes, UCIP, Harris Environmental, and HEI Radon up until she was diagnosed with cancer. Bridgette was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Clarion where she was also a Deacon, the VBS Director for 3 years, a youth leader, Sunday School teacher, and a part of the Meal Ministries. She volunteered at the Clarion-Limestone School in a variety of ways. Bridgette was an inspiration to many. She was a fighter and always kept everyone informed through her facebook page “Bridgette’s Journey” on her battle with cancer. She enjoyed reading, especially her Bible, kayaking, visiting the beach, flowers, and crafting, but above all, she loved being with her family. In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by her daughters, Kayte and Bailey Beinhaur, both of Clarion; her brother, Matthew Sowl and his wife, Amber, of Knox; her sister-in-law, Jennifer Beinhaur of Rimersburg; and 3 nephews, Logan, Gabe, and Owen Willette, all of Rimersburg. Bridgette was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Wendyl Sowl, Dorothy Sowl Myers, and Larue Myers and her maternal grandparents, Willis Jones and Betty Botzer Jones. Family and friends will be received from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 21, 2023 at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the First Baptist Church in Clarion with Rev. Jason Hunter presiding. Interment will follow in the Clarion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Bridgette’s honor to the Clarion Forest VNA, 271 Perkins Road, Clarion, PA 16214 or to the UPMC Cancer Center at Magee Women’s Hospital, 300 Halket Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15213.
