Erin Cain Dolecki

Erin Cain Dolecki, 82, of McKinley Health Center in Brookville, formerly of Clarion, died on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the McKinley Health Center. Born on August 4, 1932 in Oakland, PA; she was the daughter of Patrick Joseph and Mary Tolle Cain. She graduated from Bethel Park High School and the Robert Morris Business College. Erin was first married to Edward M. Dolecki in August of 1957, who preceded her in death on October of 1990. She then married Matthew Dolecki in November of 1991, who also preceded her in death in March of 2011. Mrs. Dolecki worked as an office manager for several different doctors’ offices. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Clarion. Erin enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events along with spending time with her grandchildren. She loved her Irish heritage and enjoyed reading and researching about it and also loved to travel. Erin is survived by two daughters, Bridget Divins and her husband, Dennis, of Clarion and Anne Mahoney and her husband, Daniel, of Whitehouse Station, NJ; six grandchildren, Sarah Divins Krugman and her husband, Bradley, of Elyria, OH, Sargent Adam Divins and his wife, Kandra, of Fort Drum, NY, Mark Divins and Mary Divins, both of Clarion, and Maura and Erin Mahoney of Whitehouse Station, NJ; and five great-grandchildren, Owen and Cooper Krugman, Dylan and Aiden Divins, and Logan Divins. Also surviving are one brother, James Cain of FL; two sisters-in-law, Patricia Cain of Mount Lebanon and Mary Jane Buchna of Oil City; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, and a brother, Charles Cain. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday September 23, 2014 at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home, 638 Wood Street, Clarion, where a Christian Wake Service will be held at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday September 24, 2014 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Clarion, with Rev. Monty Sayers, pastor of the Immaculate Conception Church, presiding. Interment will be held at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Pittsburgh. Memorials and donations can be made to charity of one’s choice. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday September 23, 2014 at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home, 638 Wood Street, Clarion, where a Christian Wake Service will be held at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday September 24, 2014 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Clarion.
