Wanda M. Clark

Wanda M. Clark, age 84, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, March 14, 2026, after courageously battling leukemia for seven months. She was born on June 22, 1941, in Kittanning to the late David L. and Caroline M. Cornman Bright. Wanda worked various jobs throughout her life, but the job she excelled at and enjoyed the most was being a homemaker and caring for children. She was a nurturing grandma who truly loved being with her grandchildren. Wanda would get on the floor to play, sing silly songs, and fill their days with comfort and laughter. She also attended as many sporting events as she could, always cheering them on and being a well-known fan in the Keystone and CL stands. Wanda also loved the beach, warm weather, swimming, and a good cup of coffee. Above all, she prioritized her devotion to Jesus and ensured that Jesus was part of her grandchildren's lives. Wanda attended the Trinity Point Church of God and missed going when her health began to decline. She is survived by her husband, Dennis R. Clark, whom she married on December 15, 1979; her daughter, Cynthia Weaver (Buck); five grandchildren, Wendy Ferguson (Mike), Samantha Ferguson (JJ), and Kaci, Tessa and Jozee Weaver; and fifteen great-grandchildren, Kaden, Zoey, Jase, Kalyssa, Thomas, Justine, Summer, Hayden, Rylan, Jency, JD, Jacoby, Luka, Kyler, and Talya, with two more on the way. Wanda is also survived by her brother, David Bright (Janet Kay), and several nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Amy Waugman (John), whom she was very excited to see in Heaven. The Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion has the distinct honor of serving the family. Wanda’s family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2026, at Trinity Point Church of God in Clarion. Additional viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the church, with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m., officiated by her brother, Pastor David Bright, and Pastor Ray Peters. Interment will take place at the Cedarview Memorial Park in Strattanville.
