Ashleigh Anne Deitz Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Ashleigh Anne Deitz, 25, of Showers Road, Clarion, died of heart failure on Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at home surrounded by her family and in her parents arms. Born May 24, 1985, in DuBois, she was the daughter of Gerald D. and Kathleen J. Troup Deitz of Clarion. She participated in various IU programs and was a graduate of C-L High School. Ashleigh attended the New Rehoboth Greenville Presbyterian Church in Clarion. She was a member of The Arc of Clarion County. She enjoyed fishing, boat rides, and gator rides. She loved puppies and raising ducks, rabbits, and chickens. Ashleigh has been an inspiration to all. She loved to spend time with her family and friends and enjoyed talking to them on the phone. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Brandy Girt and her husband, Jeremy, of Strattanville; two nieces, Ali and Adylin Girt of Strattanville; paternal grandmother, Edith Deitz of Clarion; and maternal grandparents, Jacqueline and Charles Troup of Clarion. Also surviving are aunts and uncles, Charles Deitz and his wife, Elise, of Clarion; Jeffrey Deitz and his wife, Michelle, of Sligo; Jeanne Foster and her husband, Fred, of Clarion; Linda Corbin and her husband, Bill, of Clarion; Terry Troup and his wife, Rhonda, of Knox; Steve Troup and his wife, Marilyn, of Clarion; Roger Troup and his wife, Doris, of Strattanville; numerous cousins; her dogs, Jesse and Jake; and her boyfriends, Bill, Bob, Dave, and Derry. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Donald Deitz. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2011, at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home, 638 Wood Street, Clarion. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2011, in the funeral home with Rev. James Dietrich, pastor of the New Rehoboth Greenville Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be held in the New Rehoboth Greenville Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
