Edwin F. Weaver

Edwin F. Weaver, 93, of Marble passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Clarion Hospital. He was born on a farm in Marble on July 2, 1921; the son of the late Charles and Stella Weaver. Edwin was employed at the PA Neiderriter Lumber Company, now known as Allied Wood Products in Marble until his retirement in 1984. He married Anna Groner on July 2, 1969, and she preceded him in death on February 19, 1985. Edwin was a lifelong member of the Saint Michaels Catholic Church in Fryburg. He enjoyed gardening and doing yard work. Edwin is survived by two nephews, Rodger Weaver and wife Cathy of Marienville and Ronnie Weaver and wife Betty Lee of Leechburg, and one niece, Karen May of Oil City. An addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by a brother, Alvin Weaver and a sister-in-law, Betty Weaver. At Edwin’s request, there will be no public visitation. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the Saint Michael’s Catholic Church in Fryburg with the Rev. DG Davis pastor presiding. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
