Ella Louise Glinkerman Cramer, 88, of Curllsville, died Tuesday, May 4, 2010, in Dresden, Ohio. Born on December 4, 1921, in Sigel, she was the daughter of Boyd James and Myrtle Olive Myers Glinkerman. She was married on October 22, 1941 to George A. Cramer, who preceded her in death on August 30, 2001. Mrs. Cramer worked at the Clarview Nursing Home for 52 years, from November 1957 to November 2009, where she was known as a devoted employee. She was a member of the Curllsville United Methodist Church. Mrs. Cramer enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her three children, Donna Taylor and husband, Thomas, of Franklin; Patricia Reesman and husband, Paul, of New Bethlehem; and Lani Cramer and wife, Debbie, of Dresden, OH; eight grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are siblings, Darrel Glinkerman of Euless, TX; Donald Glinkerman and wife, Nancy, of Summerville; Mary Alexander of Clarion; Mable Lancaster of Jackson, OH; Sandra Doverspike and husband, Melvin, of Mayport; and Connie Carnahan and husband, Donald, of Clarion. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Olive Hepler and Mildred Glinkerman; and three brothers, James, Vern, and Morgan Glinkerman. Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 7, 2010, at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion. A private funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2010, at the Cedarview Memorial Park in Strattanville with Rev. Kate Reitz, pastor of the Curllsville United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be held at the Cedarview Memorial Park in Strattanville. Memorials and donations can be made to the Curllsville United Methodist Church, Curllsville PA 16221.
