James E. Neiswonger

July 29, 1960 - June 27, 2009

James E. “Bird Man” Neiswonger, 48, of Seven Hills Road Strattanville died unexpectedly Saturday, June 27, 2009, in a motorcycle accident in Farmington Township. Born July 29, 1960, in Brookville, he was the son of Harry E. and Nancy Hindman Neiswonger of Corsica. He attended the Clarion Limestone High School. Mr. Neiswonger was of Protestant faith. He was a heavy equipment operator for Neiswonger Construction. Mr. Neiswonger enjoyed riding his motorcycle, especially bike runs with his friends. In addition to his parents, he is survived by siblings, Brenda Wagner and husband, Ray, of Corsica; Kenneth Neiswonger and wife, Sharon, of Strattanville; Sherry Beverage of Corsica; and Don Neiswonger and wife, Sue, of Summerville.  Also surviving are nieces and nephews that he thought of as children, Ryan O’Brien, Chad O’Brien, Alicia Wolbert, Cody Wolbert, Luke Wolbert, Heather Shirey, Andrea Saylor, and Scott Neiswonger.  He is also survived by three great nieces and one great nephew and his dog, Mia. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Harry and Margret Lucus Hindman and Harry and Margret Servey Neiswonger. Family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2009, in the funeral home with Pastor S. Clair Heitzenrater, retired Baptist Pastor, officiating. Interment will be held in the Pisgah Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Corsica.
