John H. Summerville Jr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

John H. Summerville Jr., 56, of Reynoldsville, formerly of Strattanville, died unexpectedly Saturday, March 26, 2011, at the DuBois Regional Medical Center. Born August 25, 1954, in Clarion, he was the son of the late John H. Summerville Sr. and Ruby Cyphert Summerville of Strattanville. Mr. Summerville was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Clarion. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition his mother, he is survived by four siblings, Jane Wenner of Strattanville; Mary Ann Graybill of Brookville; Michael Summerville and his wife, Tammy, of Cranesville; and Robert Summerville of Strattanville; and seven nieces and nephews, Crist Wenner and his wife, Ann, of Oil City; Mindy Etter of Columbus, OH; Jeremy Wenner and his wife, Jennifer, of Corsica; Samantha Pelkowski and her husband, Noah, of Burnsville; Nathan Graybill of Pittsburgh; Melissa Randal and her husband, Seth, of Longwood, FL; and Adam Summerville of Erie. He was preceded in death by his father. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home, 638 Wood Street, Clarion. Christian wake service will be held at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, in the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at the Immaculate Conception Church in Clarion with Rev. Monty Sayers, pastor of the Immaculate Conception Church, presiding. Interment will be held in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
