Terri Lynn Neely, 52, of Rimersburg, passed away Saturday morning, June 24, 2017 at the Clarion Hospital following a brief illness. She was born on February 2, 1965 in Clarion; daughter of the late Harry Eugene Yates and Patti Slaterbeck Yates Switzer of Rimersburg. Terri worked at Perkins in Clarion while going to school to be an LPN, and then she worked at the Autumn Grove Nursing Home in Harrisville. She attended the Fellowship Baptist Church in Emlenton. Terri enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She liked watching sports, especially the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins. Terri loved cats, and enjoyed her cat Bailey. She is survived by her mother, Patti of Rimersburg, her companion, Kenneth Johnson of Jeannette, one son, Andrew Neely and his wife, Miranda of Emlenton, a daughter, Jessica Neely of Rimersburg, and three grandchildren, Kathryn “Katie May” Neely, Charity Joy Neely, and Courtney Lynn Neely. Terri is also survived by three sisters, Lori Echlin and her husband Tony of Arkansas, Tammi Greenawalt and her husband Gary of Shippenville, and Kelli Gagliano and her husband Martin of Rimersburg, her nieces and nephews, Kristi and her husband Rob, Holli and her fiancé Jack, Tiffani, Kayla and her friend Steve, Jared and his wife Elizabeth, Michele and her friend Andy, Matthew and his friend Allie, and Kelsi and her friend Marcus, and her great nieces and nephews, Logan, Megan, Morgan, Kohen, Madylhen, Kaden, Aleigha, Broc, Emme, Brantley, and James, and one aunt, Irene Gilpin of Kansas. She is preceded in death by her father, her sister, Sherri Dawn Yates, and her uncle, Jerry Gilpin. Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2017 at the Fellowship Baptist Church, 3727 Oneida Valley Road, Emlenton, PA 16373. Funeral Services will be held at 8 p.m. in the Church with Pastor Jacob Langdon, presiding. Interment will be held in the Cedarview Memorial Park in Strattanville. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to the Burns Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., P.O. Box 175, Rimersburg, PA 16248 who is handling the arrangements for the family.
