Ann M. Magrini

Ann M. Magrini, 87, of 532 Wood Street, Clarion, died Monday, October 17, 2011, Serenity Hospice House in Shippenville. Born June 15, 1924, in Clarion, she was the daughter of the late Amos A. and Folsom Dunkle Hartle. She was married on September 18, 1947 to Gus Magrini Sr., who preceded her in death on February 2, 1992. She worked as a secretary at the Clarion County Courthouse for seven years. She then worked for Weaver’s Jewelers for 15 years, retiring in 1986. Mrs. Magrini was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Clarion, where she was a member of the Immaculate Conception Guild and Funeral Team. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. Ann enjoyed playing cards, dancing, and spending time with her family. Mrs. Magrini is survived by five children, Victoria Kennedy and her husband, James, of Colonial Heights, VA; Patricia Moore and her husband, Kevin, of Allison Park; Gus Magrini Jr. and his wife, Rita, of Florence, AL; Gregory Magrini of Clarion; Timothy Magrini and his wife, Carla, of Clarion; 16 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 5 great step children, and one great great grandchild. Also surviving are two sisters, Theresa Caldwell and Madelyn Heagerty, both of Clarion; and a son-in-law, Thomas Mason of Richmond, VA. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Mason; a grandson, Michael Mason; five brothers, Clair Hartle, Robert Hartle, Paul Hartle, Richard Hartle, and Jerome Hartle; and a sister, Jane Cyphert. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home, 638 Wood Street, Clarion. Christian wake service will be held at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2011, in the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 21, 2011 in the Immaculate Conception Church in Clarion with Rev. Monty Sayers, pastor of the Immaculate Conception Church, presiding. Interment will be held in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
