Marian E. Hargenrader

Marian E. Hargenrader, 80, of Stoney Lonesome Road, Clarion, died early Monday, January 11, 2010, at the Clarion Hospital. Born January 22, 1929, in Clarion, she was the daughter of Chester T. and Martha Reinsel Miller. She was married on June 18, 1955, to Paul J. Hargenrader, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Hargenrader attended the Immaculate Conception School and graduated from Clarion Limestone High School. She graduated from the DuBois Business College. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Hargenrader belonged to the Clarion County Classy Chicks (Red Hat Society), VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #2145, William Penn Association Catholics Knights of St. George Branch #8114, Immaculate Conception Ladies Guild, and was a volunteer at Clarion Hospital. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Clarion, where she was very active in church doings such as Eucharist Minister, money counter, and mailing committee. Mrs. Hargenrader is survived by six children, Bernard L. Hargenrader, and wife, Stacy, of Houma, LA; Sharon Wagner and husband, Roger, of Shippenville; Mary Rose Ragon and husband, Phillip, of Franklin; Patricia Greteman and husband, Dennis, of Foss, OK; Robert P. Hargenrader of Summerville; and Kimberly Callander and husband, Wesley, of Parker. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, James Hargenrader, Sabrina Pulliam, April and Josh Wagner, Katie and Melanie Ragon, and Anna Callander; three great grandchildren, Nate and Eric Pulliam, and Zoe Grace Hargenrader. She is also survived by one brother, Chester J. Miller and wife, Jane, of Danville, OH; two sisters, Joan Berger of Houston, TX; Barb Niederriter and husband, George, of Limestone; five sister-in-laws, Mary Helen Ames and husband, Chuck, Jerri Smith, Dolores Weaver and husband, John, Celestine Hargenrader, and Rose Hargenrader; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald R. Miller and Delbert J. Miller. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2010, at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion. Christian wake service will be held at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2010, in the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2010, at the Immaculate Conception Church in Clarion with Rev. Monty Sayers, pastor of the Immaculate Conception Church, officiating. Interment will be held in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Clarion.
