Todd E. Hullinger

Todd E. Hullinger, husband, father, brother, son, and friend, passed away on March 24, 2026, at the age of 64, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 21, 1961, in St. Joseph, Missouri. As a young child, his family moved to the East Coast. He grew up in Orefield, PA, and graduated from Parkland High School in 1979. He earned a BA in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma in 1983 (Boomer Sooner!). Married for 33 years, Todd was a family man and enjoyed a loving relationship with his wife, Barbara, while raising their three children (Ian, Logan, and Julia) in Clarion, PA. Todd took great pleasure in spending time with his family. He talked with his children daily, and they’d be the first to tell you that he always showed up for them. Todd’s warmth was ever-present, and people felt cared for when he was around. He enjoyed simple pleasures like a date with Barbara, fishing with his kids when they were young, a cold beer on a hot day, eating Chinese food, or enjoying a Bob’s sub, walks on the beach, and spending time outdoors in special places like Cooks Forest near his home. He was a people person, treasured friendships, old and new, was open-minded and nonjudgmental, and was invigorated when discussing politics. His compassion, sense of humor, and moral compass were ever-present and a forever memorable part of his personality. He spent most of his work life in sales, with an emphasis on real estate and working with companies focused on homebuilding and property development. He always enjoyed meeting new people, building relationships, creative thinking, keeping promises, and problem-solving. After retiring from his sales career, Todd enjoyed several months working with intellectually disabled adults, during which he quickly gained the respect and admiration of co-workers and the individuals he supported. Todd is survived by his wife, Barbara I. Noti Hullinger; their children, Ian and Julia Hullinger; his father, Herbert Hullinger; and three siblings, Marc, Monte, and Kristen Hullinger, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Todd was preceded in death by his beloved son, Logan, his mother, Dorla Streebin Hullinger, and his sister, Lori Hullinger. As a man of strong faith, the family finds comfort in knowing Todd is enjoying being with them once again. Memories of Todd will be a comfort to all who knew him, and he will remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to share life with him. The family thanks the Cardiac ICU Team at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh for their outstanding care and medical treatment, and Todd’s community of friends in Clarion for supporting him and the family while hospitalized and for continuing to be a source of strength and love for Barbara, Julia, and Ian. The Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion has the distinct honor of serving the family, and all services will be held privately.
